Result judgment
1. Positive: In the observation hole, a purple line appears in both the test line area (T) and the control line area (C). The higher the T. gondii antibody titer, the darker the detection line (T).
2. Weak positive: In the observation hole, the magenta line appears in the test line area (T) and the control line area (C), but the color in the test line area (T) is very light.
3. Negative: In the observation hole, only a purple line appears in the control line area (C).
4. Failure: In the observation hole, neither the magenta line appears in the control line area (C) or the detection line area (T); or only the magenta line appears in the detection line area (T).
Precautions
1. Products with damaged aluminum foil bags cannot be used. The test card must be used within 1 hour after removal.
2. If the collected serum sample cannot be detected immediately, it should be stored at 4 ℃ for short-term storage (48 hours), and -20 ℃ for long-term storage.
3. When the sample is added to the “sample well”, foaming should be avoided. The amount of sample should be controlled at about 100ul (about two drops of sample). Excessive sample addition does not increase detection sensitivity.
4. The level of antibody is only related to the depth of the detection line (T line), and has no correlation with the depth of the quality control line (C line). As long as the quality control line is clearly visible, the experiment is valid.
5. When the content of test substance is very high, after the test line appears, the red color will gradually fade and even disappear. At this time, it is recommended to dilute the sample with saline several times before testing, and the red line can be stabilized.
6. Used test cards should be properly disposed of in accordance with local pollutant disposal regulations.
7. Products that have expired cannot be used.
